J.Lo avalanche at AMAs: Jennifer Lopez acreage on her best acclaimed asset at the American Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez got the ring's signature addition for her boxing-themed ball accepted at Sunday night's American Music Awards, as acclaimed arena anchorperson Michael Buffer alleged out "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" as she fabricated her way on stage.

But what he absolutely meant, apparently, was "Let's Get Ready to Tumble."

Jenny from the block landed on her acclaimed rear during an aggressive achievement of her fresh distinct "Louboutins" - and she couldn't alike accusation the acclaimed red-soled aerial heels of the song's title.

It was a good thing J.Lo wasn't sporting Louboutins during the first part of the performance, which began in a boxing-ring set piece and featured bare chested male back-up dancers. The daring choreography for the dance's climax had her using the men as stepping stones, bending over so that the singer could strut up their backs like a set of stairs on her way to the top.

When she got there, she jumped off the torso of one of the male dancers and landed smack on her behind before leaping back up to her feet, not missing a beat or giving off any signs that she'd botched her dismount. If you blinked, you'd have missed it.

She executed the rest of the dance without any mishaps despite an onstage costume change that had her don high heels and a sculptural, armor-like gold dress.

While J.Lo proved she's a consummate pro with her quick recovery, choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon D'umo - known to "So You Think You Can Dance" fans as husband-wife team Nappytabs - might share some of the blame for her stumble after devising such a risky routine for live TV.

The couple, who've also concocted dance numbers for Beyonce and Missy Elliot, according to People.com, wanted her to make a big splash in this number, considered something of a comeback after a break from performing following the birth of her twins.

"You can expect to be entertained and you won't be disappointed," Tabitha told People.com of the routine before Sunday's performance.

Napoleon described it as "her coming back to being in her own and saying, 'Hey, this is me again — don't forget about it!' "

Lopez may find that for a while at least, fans do indeed have a new reason to not forget her - even if it's not the one she might have hoped for.
